On behalf of the International Spasticity Society (ISS), it is our pleasure to invite you to join us for SPASTICITY X – The 2nd International Symposium, taking place in Barcelona, Spain, from 31 March–3 April 2027.

SPASTICITY X is the only international, interdisciplinary symposium dedicated exclusively to advancing the science and treatment of spasticity. Bringing together leading clinicians, researchers, and experts from across disciplines, the symposium will provide a unique forum for examining where the field stands today—and where it needs to go next.

The program will explore current and emerging research, innovative assessment and treatment approaches, and the evolving science underlying spasticity. Through critical analysis, scientific debate, and interactive sessions, participants will have the opportunity to question established paradigms, examine areas of controversy, and exchange perspectives that can advance both research and clinical practice.

SPASTICITY X is more than a presentation of the latest evidence. It is an opportunity to engage with colleagues at the forefront of the field, identify important unanswered questions, foster new collaborations, and contribute to shaping the future direction of spasticity research and management.
