SPASTICITY X: The 2nd International Global Symposium will be held in Barcelona, Spain, 31 March–3 April 2027. The Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower is the official headquarters hotel.

Attire

Semi-casual/ business attire is recommended for the Symposium. We suggest you dress comfortably and have a jacket or sweater available in case you find the meeting rooms too cold.

The weather in Barcelona is relatively moderate, with temperatures averaging between low 8°C (48°F) and high 20°C (68°F).

Airport & Ground Transportation

Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) is 7 km from the Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower.

Taxi and Rideshare (Recommended)

  • Taxi: Readily available outside both Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2). The ride takes roughly 6 to 10 minutes. Surcharges apply for airport pickups, resulting in an expected fare of around €23 to €28.
  • Rideshare: Services like Uber operate at the airport. You must request your ride through the app and follow the signs to the designated rideshare pickup zones in the airport parking garages.

Public Bus (Most Cost-Effective)

  • TMB Bus Line 46: This local bus services both T1 and T2. Take Line 46 directly from the airport and get off at the Hospital Oncològic stop.
  • The Walk: The bus stop drops you off right across the street from the hotel. You can safely cross via the pedestrian underpass tunnel to reach the main lobby. The total transit time is about 15 to 20 minutes and tickets cost €6 (or less if using a multi-journey T-casual card).
